We Are All "Banished" Review

As time comes and goes, new games manage to sneaking into my feed and Banished hit me by storm and it became addicting fun for hours, when I first played it.  I was introduced to the game by a YouTuber and I am obsessed with simulation games, so I decided to get a hold of a copy and play it for myself.  This game is a village simulation game where you have to build the village from the ground up as your villagers begin to create a new life for themselves.

In the game, you can choose between 3 different modes, easy, medium, and hard.  Easy will have the most advantages, so I would definitely recommend you start off with that level and watch the tutorials on the main menu.  There are so many things to learn in this game and I was so lost before I watched the tutorials on what to do.  Once you do the tutorial, then you can move on to the game and start building your town.  You can place homes, farms, build buildings that can help you improve your town and make sure it can stay afloat and maybe grow into a great empire.

Learning a New Language With Duolingo

There are so many programs out there to try and learn new languages.  Theres big expensive programs that you can buy like Rosetta Stone, you can take courses in High School or college, sometimes take really big courses aren’t all ways the best way to learn things.  From the courses I’ve see they are all expensive and cost a lot and while in high school you can take courses for a few selected languages its still difficult when everything is being throw to you at once and not having it being tough to you slowly.  Jumping into a pool of water does not make you learn how to swim faster, it makes you sink quicker.

Today I want to review an app that is free for all, Duolingo.  This is an app and website that allows you to lean and teach yourself new languages on your schedule.  When you open the app you can choose how long you want to study for a day.  It can range from 5 minutes to 30 minutes a day based on how much time you want to study for, I have mine set to 20 minutes a day because I really want to learn a new language.  Right now I am taking Dutch and Spanish.  I am a beginner so I don't know really much of anything and I can't remember anything from my Spanish class in high school.  So my challenge is to try and teach myself in a slower paced manor in a less pressure way.

Dead By Daylight, A Continuous Fight

Multiplayer games are all that I’ve been playing lately and I’ve been obsessed with the newest game I’ve added into my collection, Dead By Daylight.  I was first introduced to this game by a group of YouTubers and Twitch streamers who began to play the game back in June 2016.  This game is a fun horror game thats you can play with friends or others online.

The game is based around 5 players, four survivors and one killer.  The four survivors walk around a map and beging the challenge of starting 5 generators.  It seems simple enough, however you have to avoid a blood thirsty killer that will do everything in their power to try and capture you.

Agatha Christie And Then There Were None Game Review

Hello everyone its been so long since I've posted anything, but without further ado.  Today I'm going to be talking about the point and click adventure "And Then There Were None". This game was written by Agatha Christie in the 1939. It was later turned into a game in 2005.

"Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None is the first title in a series of games based on the books from legendary mystery author, Agatha Christie. In this classic story, 10 people -- each with something to hide and something to fear -- are invited to a lonely mansion on Shipwreck Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear. On the island, they are cut off from everything but each other and the inescapable shadows of their own past lives. One by one, the guests share the darkest secrets of their wicked pasts. And one by one, they die...
Agatha Christie fans, and newcomers to the genre, can look forward to a series of unexpected turns; although the storyline stays true to the original concept, players will encounter new plot twists."

Scarlet Heart Ryeo K-Drama

I'm back with another K-Drama review and this time it's for the historical drama, Scarlet Heart Ryeo.  This drama is about a 21st century girl who gets caught in a solar eclipse and sent back into time to the Goryeo Dynasty.  I will try not to give anything away about the show for those who have not seen it for themselves but be warned there may be spoilers or hints about what happens in the show.
